AUS 32 (aqueous urea solution), also known as AdBlue (trade name), is an aqueous solution of urea that, when added to exhaust gas, reduces the amount of harmful emissions.
It is a formulation used in commercial vehicles and buses equipped with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) catalyst systems to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions.
During the process, nitrogen oxides (NO, NO₂) are converted into harmless nitrogen (N₂) and water.
